Thomas Inducted into Baton Rouge Rotary

Laura Thomas, Antares’ Vice President of Sales & Marketing has been inducted as a member of the Rotary Club of Baton Rouge.  A chartered club of Rotary International, Rotary Club of Baton Rouge is comprised of over 500 business and professional leaders from the greater Baton Rouge area and is one of the largest groups of over 35,000 Rotary clubs worldwide.  Since its founding on October 1, 1918, the club has been known for its fellowship and service to the community. Rotary Club of Baton Rouge Foundation, the charitable arm of the club, contributes thousands of dollars to help support community projects and initiatives endorsed by the club.

Rotary International is an organization of  1.2 million neighbors, friends, leaders, and problem-solvers who see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change – across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.  Eradicating polio remains Rotary’s No. 1 priority.   As part of the qualifications for new members, Rotary looks for individuals who hold a leading position in their profession and in their company or organization in particular.  They also look for a demonstration of leadership and service to others through community service, religious and civic involvement along with demonstrating good character and have a good business or professional reputation.

Antares is proud of Laura’s recognition and association with such a dedicated service organization.  We look forward to supporting her as a new Rotarian and her community involvement.  The Rotary motto says it all – Service Above Self.
