Alan Smith will serve as Antares’ first CFO. His expertise will help sharpen Antares’ edge, as we expand our services into more competitive areas.Baton Rouge, LA – Antares Technology Solutions, a Baton Rouge based software development and information technology consulting company, recently welcomed Alan Smith as its first CFO. Smith will be based out of the Baton Rouge headquarters where he will help oversee and steer the company’s financial course.
Smith graduated from LSU with a bachelor’s degree in accounting, and then later received his MBA from the University of New Orleans. In addition to his academic and professional qualifications as a CPA, Smith brings many years of experience as a CFO to local companies, including his most recent post, which was over an electronics company that also included software product sales.
Always looking for top talent, Antares is excited to welcome Smith aboard. CEO Ezra Hodge says that the addition of Smith’s experience comes at an opportune time for the growing company.
“As a Louisiana-based software company that is expanding into more competitive areas around the country, we need the experienced financial leadership that Al brings to our company in order to further sharpen our edge and continue to grow,” says Hodge.

David Wallace joins Antares as the Regional Director of Business Development to help cultivate new business relationships and expand services throughout the south central region. Wallace has over 23 years of business development experience and plans to bring his extensive expertise in prospect/client analysis to the growing company. As part of the Antares team, Wallace will lead the initiative to expand the company’s presence in Austin and continue growth of the greater Houston and Dallas client base.
Kurt Bueche joined Antares in September 2013 as a Project Manager and to assist in Business Development and will specialize in onsite data extraction. Previously serving 12 years as the vice president of operations at Presonus, Bueche intends to bring his 25+ years of management and information systems experience to the company. Always looking toward the newest, most cutting edge technology, Bueche says, “I’d like to increase my knowledge of web based development, portals and the newest IT technology that is being implemented here at Antares.”
