Antares’ Hunter Guest Receives Degree from WGU

Antares Software Developer Hunter Guest recently received his bachelor of science in software development, with an emphasis in Java, from Western Governors University (WGU). Software development has always been Hunter’s dream job. The dedication, problem solving and troubleshooting skills that go into it have always intrigued him. He joined the Navy right out of high school to travel the world. After 7 years in the service, he decided it was time to go back to school. It was at BRCC in his intro to HTML class that he wrote his first “HELLO WORLD.” After that, he was hooked. Soon thereafter, Hunter got his associates degree in software development from ITT Tech.

Over the years, Hunter has shown tremendous dedication to expanding his knowledge and expertise in the IT field. He has obtained the the following certifications: CompTIA A+ 901, CompTIA A+ 902, COMPTIA Project +, CIW User Interface Designer, CIW Advanced HTML5 and CSS Specialist. He is now looking more to Microsoft Certifications with an emphasis in ML(Machine Learning).  AI technologies have always intrigued him and now with his bachelor’s degree out the way he wants to further his knowledge in this area.
