LA Dept of Health and Hospitals – Environmental Public Health Tracking Network
DHH IT and Antares teamed up to develop a Proof of Concept development and test environment for the DHH Environmental Public Health Tracking Network (EPHTN) project. DHH IT required the design, planning, and implementation of a system that meets the CDC requirements for the La EPHT Network by incorporating environmental data into a Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 Reporting System and data marts. This included the design, planning, and implementation of a secure mechanism for the exchange of data between the LA EPHT system and the National EPHT Network using the Public Health Information Network Message System (PHIN-MS). The LA EPHT system uses a SQL Server 2008 R2 and SharePoint 2010 to provide core measures reports as specified by the CDC.
